I got myself not one, but two pair of new shoes last week! One of those are these ankle booties by Janet & Janet. These boots are definitely for autumn/winter, so even though I still hope we’ll see a bit more of summer this year, I’m already looking forward to be able to wear my new shoes!

Janet & Janet reaches out to the young woman – energetic, strong, vital, sure of herself – with casual products that are, at the same time, chic. They exude femininity, with a sophisticated touch and an intriguing style that is present in all of the footwear and accessories offered. The Janet woman is modern, dynamic and carefully crafts her image, and she knows how to choose, from amongst a myriad of brands, the right one for her. She is a woman with personality.

Of course I can totally identify myself with this… ;-) I bought my booties at DiCapolavori, but you can also shop their collection at Yoox, Zalando and Sarenza. Of course the fur on these boots is totally fake!! There’s also a matching handbag (now on sale from €209,95 for €79,96), but I think that’s a bit too much, don’t you?

Ok, just curious, as here’s one I had to look up on the internet: is it “a new pair of shoes” or “a pair of new shoes”? In Dutch we’d probably use the equivalent of “a pair of new shoes”. Can’t find the answer online, seems there’s no difference. Which do you use? By the way, did you know the title of this post is a gambler’s prayer, an expression of hope during gambling games?! Still have to watch Baby needs a new pair of shoes (1974), the movie.
