Music is playing in the air

I bought myself a new gadget, the Philips Fidelio Airplay DS3881W! Some great features:

Rechargeable, so I can pick it up and take it upstairs, into the bathroom or listen to music while in my tiny little garden.
360 degrees “full sound” system, which sounds pretty good. Ok, so it’s not a full surround sound system, and it’s not a Bose or Bang & Olusfen, but doesn’t sell for their price either.
It’s small. It’s design.
It’s not a docking station, but a wifi audio system, which means it connects to your wireless internet connection, and streams audio from iTunes software without the need to plug in cables and dock your iPhone / iPad, so you can use these items, while listening to your music.
It works with Apple’s Airplay, compatible with my Macbook, iPhone and iPad, each of which can be used as a remote control.

Overall review: perfect little thing!

Ik heb mezelf een leuk nieuw speeltje gekocht, de Philips Fidelio Airplay DS3881W! Een aantal sterke eigenschappen:

Oplaadbaar, waardoor ik het apparaatje mee kan nemen naar boven, naar de badkamer of zelfs in mijn inieminie tuintje naar muziek kan luisteren.
360 graden “fullsound” geluidssysteem, met een prima geluidskwaliteit. Ok, het is het geen volwaardig surround systeem, en het is geen Bose of Bang & Olufsen, maar het heeft ook niet de prijs van die systemen.
Het is klein. Het is design.
Het is geen docking station, maar een wifi audio systeem, wat wil zeggen dat het apparaatje verbinding maakt met de draadloze internet verbinding in je huis en het geluid streamt vanuit het programma iTunes, zonder dat je een kabeltje hoeft in te pluggen, of je iPhone / iPad in het apparaat hoeft te drukken, zodat je deze gewoon kunt blijven gebruiken terwijl je muziek luistert.
Het werkt met Airplay van Apple, waardoor het perfect samenwerkt met mijn Macbook, iPhone en iPad, welke ik alle drie als afstandsbediening kan gebruiken.

Algemene beoordeling: perfect klein dingetje!

Primark s/s 2012

I am going to Amsterdam with a friend, just a day of playing tourists, walking around 9-streets, along Albert Cuyp (for beautiful fabrics) and the Waterlooplein. And when we’re finished, and have seen and done everything, I really hope that we still have some time left for a trip to Zaandam, to the newest and largest Primark in the Netherlands and their new s/s 2012 collection. Zaandam is only 11 minutes by train, the shop is located just 500 meters from the station and is open until 18:00 on Saturday. Pompiediedomdom, pleeeeeease … :-D

Ik ga binnenkort met een vriend naar Amsterdam, gewoon een dagje de toerist uithangen en rondlopen door de 9 straatjes, langs de Albert Cuyp (voor mooie stoffen) en over het Waterlooplein. En als we dan klaar zijn, alles gezien en gedaan hebben, hoop ik eigenlijk dat we nog wat tijd over hebben voor een uitstapje naar Zaandam, voor de nieuwste en grootste Primark van Nederland en hun nieuwe s/s 2012 collectie. Zaandam is maar 11 minuutjes met de trein, de winkel ligt op slechts 500 meter vanaf het station en is tot 18.00 uur geopend op zaterdag. Pompiediedomdom, pleeeeeease…

if you want to use your iPad for your presentation, just install the Keynote app on your iPad and buy a Apple VGA adapter (to connect your iPad to a beamer) + install the Keynote-remote app on your iPhone, make sure iPad and iPhone are using the same wireless connection, so that you can use your iPhone as a remote control (showing your notes as well)
I downloaded and started reading a free e-book (in Dutch) by Jan Vermeiren and Bert Verdonck on how to really use Linkedin effectively
I am absolutely without any doubt totally and utterly addicted to the H&M Trend collection! (in Groningen for sale at H&M Vismarkt) They should move to another city!! No no, just kidding, stay!
