City Trip: Amsterdam
Saturday June 9 2012
Today I was in Amsterdam for Meet The Blogger, but I travelled early in the morning so that I would have a couple of hours extra for some shopping and strolling around town. My walk started at the Haarlemmerstraat and Haarlemmerdijk. At first these streets seem a little shabby, but take a closer look: between the coffee shops you’ll find the best fashion, accessories, food and design shops in town! These are my recommendations of today…
The best stores on Haarlemmerstraat & Haarlemmerdijk: &Klevering (B), Luba (C), Memisu, Sukha (D), Pappabubble (E), Store without A Home, Vivian Hahn (F), De Tafel van 18, Tea Bar, Restored (G) and Vlaamsch Broodhuys.
After that I went on along the Prinsengracht: I Love Vintage (H). Two nice stores on Raadhuisstraat: Fair + Fair (I) and By Popular Demand (J). I bought new golden booties at Invito (K) in the Kalverstraat and then had to hurry to get to the Conservatorium Hotel (L) in time.
