Ok, so I desperately need your help! I’ve finally received some gorgeous items of the Versace for H&M collection! Fabulous Versace prints, great eye for detail, good fabrics and fitting, I love them all! But they’re not all here to stay, sadly enough… So which items do you think should definitely stay, and which ones should go??

En ik vermoed dat je er die dag gelijk bij moet zijn, want het is een bijzondere en super leuke collectie. I find myself thinking regularly I know how to find nice clothes, but only recently I started to orientate a little of what others wear, for some new inspiration. I follow a number of fashion blogs, and the denominator of which is obvious: street style fashion! But what exactly is that, street style? A definition is hard to find,but I think it comes down to this - correct me if I’m wrong - it looks like you just pulled something together, when in reality you’re wearing unique combinations of special designs of major fashion brands. And when you are looking at pictures on the Internet, it often seems like the photographer accidentally ran into models wearing street style (which of course isn’t always true).
For inspiration and the best pictures you especially need to visit Chiara Ferragni The Blonde Salad, the Dutch Iris of FashionZen, The Sartorialist at of course Stockholm Streetstyle. The best combination are made with clothes from: Romwe, Red Velvet, H&M, Asos, Beginning Boutique, Topshop, Motel Rocks, Fashion Zen Vintage, Love Clothing, Chic Wish, Dress Republic, She Inside, VJ-style, Love. Of course combined with a good pair of expensive heels and a high fashion bag “no one else has”! Still so much to learn…

Ik vind zelf altijd wel dat ik leuke kleren weet te vinden, maar pas sinds kort oriënteer ik me ook een beetje op wat anderen dragen, voor wat nieuwe inspiratie. Ik volg een aantal modeblogs, en de gemene deler daarvan is overduidelijk: street style fashion! Maar wat is dat nou eigenlijk, streetstyle? Een definitie is moeilijk te verzinnen, maar volgens mij komt het er op neer – correct me if i’m wrong – dat het lijkt alsof je zo maar iets bij elkaar aan getrokken hebt, terwijl het in werkelijkheid vaak unieke combinaties zijn, van bijzondere ontwerpen van grote modemerken. En als je dan op internet foto’s bekijkt, gaat het heel vaak om modellen die de fotograaf toevallig op straat lijkt te zijn tegen gekomen (wat natuurlijk lang niet altijd zo is). 

Voor inspiratie en de mooiste foto’s moet je vooral zijn bij Chiara Ferragni van The Blonde Salad, de Nederlandse Iris van FashionZen, The Sartorialist en natuurlijk bij Stockholm Streetstyle. De leukste combinaties maak je met kleding van: Romwe,Red Velvet, H&M, Asos, Beginning Boutique, Topshop, Motel Rocks, Fashion Zen Vintage, Love Clothing, Chic Wish, Dress Republic, She Inside, VJ-style, Love. Uiteraard gecombineerd met een goed paar dure hakken en een high fashion tas die “niemand anders heeft”! Nog zo veel te leren…
